Uky Daydreamer exhibition at One Up Akiba

The most recent exhibition at One Up Akiba, which wrapped up today, featured works by Uky Daydreamer, one of the hardest workers on the indie toy circuit. Uky regularly flies to Tokyo to attend events.

Everything in the shelf was by Uky, including resin, sofubi, and illustrations.

I really like this one.

Really cool conceptual work and execution on this one too.

Pretty colors here, and nice detailed line work on the face. Looks like maybe a sticker or transfer decal.

I think this is the first time I've seen Uky's illustrations along with his toys. Really nice touch. Would be great to see them all together in a larger space with the illustrations hung on the wall next to the toys.
