Cosplay at SDCC 2015

At this year's SDCC, there was some creative cosplay, especially with vehicles and oversized outfits. Steampunk was barely represented, and my sense in general was there weren't as many cosplayers as in years past. But those who made the trek were enthusiastic and friendly, and they wandered the Gaslamp district of the city along with the hall floor. Here's a look:

Famous cosplayer Yaya Han. There was a long line of people waiting to meet her. One guy was literally shaking after his visit. I guess cosplay is getting to be serious business!

SDCC 2013: Cosplay

There were hundreds (maybe thousands) of cosplayers walking the halls of SDCC 2013. That included an amazing variety of outfits from old, new, famous, and obscure TV shows, movies comics, anime, manga, and many other sources.

Wonder Festival 2012 (Winter) / ワンダーフェスティバル 2012［冬］ Part 4 Monsters, Cosplay, and Assorted Mayhem

Next up in our coverage of 2012 Winter Wonder Festival, we'll look at some of the monsters, masks, paper sculptures, cosplay, and interesting booths that caught my eye. By the way, if you have a chance to attend the event, be ready to spend all day going from booth to booth. The event currently runs from 10:00-5:00, and you really need every hour to see everything.
