Bandai Tamashii Nations Exhibit (May, 2013)

Here's a look Bandai's latest Tamashii Nations exhibit of its new and upcoming figures. The exhibit changes pretty often and is in a room in an underpass beneath the train lines. The passageway connects one side of Akihabara with another.

Once again, the toy titan shows the breadth of its product line with figures from Sailor Moon, Kamen Rider, Dragonball Z, Ultraman, and on and on.
Lots of upcoming Sailor Moon figures

 More after the jump:

I always appreciate the dynamic displays Bandai puts together. Must be a fun job position: Toy Display Technician

I like the way KR keeps the legacy of the previous Riders going and doesn't just move on from version to version while leaving the previous ones behind, like some properties do.

If there's one thing I'd change (besides the harsh lighting) it would be this type of super crammed display. A bit overwhelming on the orbs.

I saw one of these funky doll/gun transforming toys a while ago. So bizarre - only the Otakuman Empire could think it up!

Eh, whaddya gonna do?

I've always had a fetish for the shiny gold material used for this type of toy - and Saint Seiya and chogokin long before it. I haven't really picked up much of it, though one of the chogokin Raideens keeps calling out!

I'm not much of a fan of the added jutting out bits for dynamic fire/lightning/energy effects (I remember first seeing it used with some Star Wars toys around 10 years ago) but the dude in the back's sword looks pretty cool.
