Bandai Tamashii Nations Exhibit (Feb, 2013)

Bandai's latest Tamashii Nations exhibit (located in the passageway connecting the East and West sides of Akihabara station) of new and upcoming figures from Dragonball Z, Kamen Rider, Star Wars, Disney, Mazinger Z, and a ton of other properties.
Bandai does a top notch job posing and displaying their figures, so you get a really good sense of what you're getting before buying something.

 More after the jump:

Super detailed C3PO

I love these rotating displays.

Some great backdrops too, making it easy to snap nice shots. It's not as easy at it looks, since you often see backdrops intended for photo compositional framing (at shows, for example) that don't quite work out because of the size, angle, or distance from the figure.

I have to say, I've never really liked this type of plastic flame. I remember when Hasbro started doing it with Star Wars figures around 10 years ago. Just seems really bulky and static.

The trend of super poseability remains strong. (And Revoltech is making sure it's a front and center feature.)

Drill, baby, drill.

Poor feller took a tumble.

These short videos on a continual loop seem to attract as much attention as the figures.
