Toy Shop Visit: Gateway (ゲイトウエイ)

Gateway is a classic toy shop in Nagoya, with narrow passageways, crammed shelves, and figures every which way you look. The shop sells kaiju, chogokin, plastic model kits, diecast cars, and other toys, as well as books and DVDs. A lot of the stock is vintage to early modern, ranging from the 1960s to the 1990s. Not too much recent stuff or indie sofubi, though.

There's the owner in his cave. Ever notice how all the classic toy shops have owner caves??

I thought about buying this loose Robo Hacchan...

...but wound up buying this GID Daimon.
Soon I'll put up a video I shot at the store.
