Store Visit: Few Many

Few Many has been a fixture on the Tokyo toy store circuit for years. It's located in a Shinjuku alley near the Isetan department store, just a few minutes from the east exit of the JR Shinjuku station. (Click here to get the exact location off my Tokyo toy shop map.)

Few Many is something of a hybrid shop, with toys, clothing, stationery, and even a small gallery space for exhibitions. In some ways, that makes it something of a designer toy gift shop, but you may also be able to track down something you need (or want - it's sometimes hard to tell the difference...), and if you're in the Shinjuku area, it's worth checking out.

Store shots:

 More after the jump:

Lots of Ugly Doll stuff

Also Blythe and other figures for women shoppers - which is a cool touch as not too many stores aim for a balance.

Nice Dehara selection too

There are plenty of notepads, cell phone straps, and other little things - could make nice souvenir gifts.

They really pack a lot into the store space. These are some of their T-shirts and bags.

A shot of the current exhibition. (More shots and details coming soon.)
