I imagine toy fiends finding hidden stashes of deadstock vintage gems might be as protective. ^_^andy bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15920660842290887782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1661976343938156682.post-74313322344708248772011-12-11T09:15:01.027+09:002011-12-11T09:15:01.027+09:00Basically matsutake are the next closest thing to ...Basically matsutake are the next closest thing to a truffle, hence the price. They grow in veyr limited areas, cannot be cultivated, and are extremely hard to find, as they only grow under leaf beds (hence invisible to the naked eye). Man 'shroomheads who come across a bed will usually guard the secret very closely, as there are few to go around. Still, the hunt is so much fun!ultrakaijuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13650466128881909600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1661976343938156682.post-39085232301886381802011-12-10T14:01:09.638+09:002011-12-10T14:01:09.638+09:00Yeah the Daiso and other 100 yen shops are a lot l...Yeah the Daiso and other 100 yen shops are a lot like that. I mostly go in for the stationery. Just can't beat the prices. Still I don't like to linger too long, since the smell of reeking plastic is so strong. If I want a fumes bath, I'd rather hang out with some freshly painted sofubi. ;-)andy bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15920660842290887782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1661976343938156682.post-84661064369202366042011-12-09T15:11:56.134+09:002011-12-09T15:11:56.134+09:00Great article, Andy! I dig the idea of these Daiso stores! Makes me think of the Dollar Tree here. Nothing fancy, but you can find some neat stuff in there!

Keep up the good work, man! :DMonsterforgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17677651314838192098noreply@blogger.com
